Press Play and check the output
A browser may require you to press Play before it allows sound. Check the device's media volume, the player volume and whether Bluetooth has routed audio to another speaker or headphones. A station that is playing very quietly may be using a lower broadcast level. Increase volume cautiously, because the next station may be louder.
Refresh and screen locking
Reloading a webpage ends the audio connection owned by that page. World Radio Now remembers a recent station in the current browser session and offers a resume control; restarting playback may require a tap. Lock-screen and background playback depend on the browser and phone's power management. For diagnosis, keep the page visible and the screen awake, then compare behavior after locking it.
Check the connection
Try another website to see whether the network is working. If practical, compare Wi-Fi and mobile data: a work or school network may restrict streaming, while a weak mobile connection may repeatedly buffer. Changing between networks can interrupt an existing stream even when the webpage stays visible.
When only one station fails
Broadcasters can change stream addresses, limit listeners, restrict regions or stop broadcasting. Listings come from a public directory and can become outdated. Try the broadcaster's own player, available through its official site, to distinguish a general outage from a directory-link problem. A listing in our directory is not a guarantee of availability in every country.
Send a useful problem report
In Feedback, include the station name or its detail-page link, your device and browser, whether other stations work, and what happens after pressing Play. Country-level location is useful if you suspect a regional restriction. Do not include passwords, payment details or your exact address. These details help us reproduce the problem and improve the directory.
